Since I was very young I felt a passion for pencils, markers, crayons and all the elements to be able to create what I liked so much. There was a time when I took swimming classes and before going home I saw a drawing class that was taking place at the same place, as well as other workshops.
I always looked at the art class from the outside, because I felt admiration for all those drawings that someone made and they were hanging on the wall. One day I got excited and get in the class and asked the teacher if I can be part of it, which or course she invited me in! I had much more fun drawing than swimming I must be honest, although it swimming it´s another one of my passions.
I remember that first drawing I did, it was a Gardener gathering leaves wearing a straw hat, worn jeans, a lot of green and a very light blue sky!
How long has it been since that first drawing! I remember it as if it was today!
Once I finished school, I decided to study art, first I did an Advertising Drawing course, because it is important to capture what a client needs and how to get the best out of each presentation.
Later I studied Interior Decor / Design, I was fascinated by the History of World Art, paintings, sculptures, museums, etc. I could not believe such beautiful creations with so many interpretations, super interesting. I learned to interpret a possible client before a reform in his house, how to propose colors, how to interpret the possible objects in that decoration that he had to carry out.
Later I decided to do a Master in Fine Arts, I learned all the possible art techniques, the different tools to create a work and how to create it. Of all that I learned and met what attracted me the most was Oil Painting.
I went to different workshops and there I began to paint pictures as I always dreamed of, something that I continue to do to this day because I am passionate about it.
I made works of all sizes and on all possible themes to see what I liked the most.
And over time I discovered that I like to paint paintings that contain any of these three elements, together or separately such as,
Water,
Water gives me a lot of peace, I can spend hours looking at its reflections, movements and depths. All this causes the colors to mutate, intermingle and generate new tones.
Glass,
The transparency of glass is something great, because in addition to being able to see through it, it gives everything shine and nuances that look like special effects, it allows light to pass through and shows all possible colors.
Wood,
What to say about the wood, it will be because I studied decoration and with each installment we had to graph the wooden floors, vein by vein.
What I love most about wood is that it has thousands of shades, twists and turns. I love when it is burnt by the sun, wind and the passage of time, that leave their traces, generate cracks, lights and shadows marking their history.
There are many years of apprenticeship in the my world of art, a path that continues and is renewed. Today with the new techniques that technology allows us to create and continue walking with you in this great space!
